The photograph is alarming to just how much trash we as Americans produce on a regular basis. The population continues to grow and along with it the amount of trash does as well. The amount of garbage is a growing problem that warrants concern and demands a solution. We as Americans need to address this issue and resolve it before we are overwhelmed by the damage done to the environment. This will be affecting everyone so it is everyone’s job to do their part to clean up. By the way this photo is a realistic and disgusting; it has opened my eyes to the severity of the issue and encouraged me to make an effort to recycle.
This picture is shocking to me. I cannot believe how much trash is just gathered there. I guess I never thought about how much trash we use and throw out. By looking at this picture, you would think that people would be more apt to get their trash where it belongs. I think that it is really disgusting and it shows that many of us do not care about our earth.
This photograph of a landfill really makes you take a step back and consider just how much damage we are doing to the earth. The thing that most sticks out to me is that the landfill is right in the middle of a city. I believe the student whom chose this picture was surely writing about some sort of pollution and how it is being overlooked in America today.
That plain of garbage, that landscape of watse. It is like we are refomring the very surface of the world with trash. One could think how much of the trash in this picture is dumped per day. It also makes you wonder how long till this landfill comes to your view perosnal when you wake up every morning.
